3 years!

Well its hard to believe we have been married for 3 years today!! Its been an exciting 3 years and I of course this year is the best because we had Miss Karli. As you all know I was on bedrest from March-July and I dont know what I would have done without him!

He is my best friend and a great Daddy to our little Karli! So here is to many more years! Love you Greg!

Kitties

So what do the kitties do all day? Pretty much sleep, Reggie runs to the refidge when I open it. Molly comes with me every time I go in Karli's room, she thinks its hers too!

Well what can I say, each day is getting better and better! Karli is growing like a weed! I look forward to coming home from and then waking up to her in the mornings. She is so happy in the mornings lately! Work is going great, same ole same ole I guess, but its just crazy now that I am on the other side of things..I see all these little newborn babies..but mine is the cutest :) maybe I am partial tho!

I take Karli tomorrow for her 2 month shots..uh I am dreading it, but I am sure she will do fine and be a good girl!

Before I Was A Mom

I got this from cousin Sarah's blog, I love it and I love being a Mom!

Before I was a Mom I made and ate hot meals. I had unstained clothing. I had quiet conversations on the phone. Before I was a Mom, I slept as late as I wantedAnd never worried about how late I got into bed. I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday. Before I was Mom I cleaned my house each day. I never tripped over toys or forgot words of lullabies. Before I was a Mom I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom I had never been puked on Pooped on Spit on Chewed on Peed on Or pinched by tiny fingers. Before I was a Mom I had complete control of: My thoughts My body And my mind. I slept all night. Before I was a Mom I never held down a screaming child So that doctors could do tests Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a Mom I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put it down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces When I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a Mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small Could make me feel so important. Before I was a Mom I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay I had never known the warmth The joy The love The heartache The wonder Or the satisfaction of being a Mom. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a Mom.

Bath Time!

She is really starting to enjoy getting her baths! Daddy usually gives her a bath in the evenings since I am at work. Her favorite part is when the water runs thru her hair and also when she is done and gets to be wrapped in a warm hooded towel!

2 months old!!

Well its hard to believe that Karli is 2 months old today! She is such a happy baby (when she isn't hungry) and she is changing soo much! It's such a blessing to wake up to her everyday and see what new thing she is going to try and do. I tried to sort of do a photo-shoot for 2 months, haha. Of course as soon as I put the dress on her she decided to spit up :)

Sleep!

Karli officially slept for 8 hrs straight on Monday night! I was in shock! The last few nights she has been going to sleep around 10..waking up around 4 or 5 to eat, then back out til 8 or so..then till 10:30. Maybe she is starting to get on some type of schedule! She atleast has been sleeping 6hrs straight during the night, she doesn't nap much during the day but thats ok as long as she is sleeping at night!

Such a big girl!

Everyday Karli is smiling more and more! Last week she weighed 10-13 and yesterday she weighed in at 11-9! She is getting so big! I went back to work yesterday and it wasn't as bad as I thought, we were so busy at work so that helped! I took pics to share with everyone and also put pics on my locker!

She has been sleeping great..going to sleep around 9-4, then I feed her (which she is wide awake afterwards smiling and cooing) then back to sleep til 7 or so..then this morning slept til 10. I got alot done around the house!

Getting use to the carseat!

We went for a ride in the truck this weekend and Karli's carseat was in the middle of us, she loved that she could see us!

Bath Time!

She loves getting baths for the most part! I think her favorite part is being in the hooded towl!

Karli loves her play gym!

So Karli loves this play gym that Aunt Rachel gave us that Clara and Sidney had. It has a Star on the top that plays music and she loves it! This thing can entertain her for atleast 30min so I can atleast get a Shower! She is definitly become more alert and aware of all the surroundings, its so neat to watch her change everyday!

The past 7 weeks....

It's amazing how much your life can change in 7 weeks! We are enjoying every moment we can with Baby Karli! She is getting so big..this week she weighed 10lb 13oz! Before we know it, she will be starting kindergarten!
