34 weeks and some freedom finally!!!!
We made it to 34 weeks!! I had a Dr's apt yesterday along with a Non Stress Test. Everything looks great so far! I finally got put on modified bedrest which means I can drive again, go to dinner, go to the movies, go to the store, and I don't have to be in bed all day which is so nice. I am excited, it kind of freaks me out tho that in 2 weeks the stitch comes out and Karli could be here...or it could be another couple weeks after that.
I have my work shower here at the house on Saturday, I am getting excited about it and it will be nice to see everyone! I may get to go back to work for a couple hrs within the next few weeks. I will atleast feel safe there if I do go into labor!
Here is some info on week 34
How far along?: 34 weeks.
Total weight gain:
How big is baby?: Approx 5 lbs! She is getting so big :)
Maternity clothes?: Yep.
Stretch marks?: yep they aren't THAT bad yet tho!
Sleep?: mm not so well, some nights are better than others. I will be celebrating when I dont have to wear these ted hose stockings to sleep in anymore..uhh I cant stand them!
Best moment this week?: getting put on modified bedrest..but I am still a little hesitant to go anywhere at the moment!
Movement?: Not many kicks anymore... she is running out of room! Tons of pushing, stretching & squirming... & hiccups!
Food cravings?: hmm pizza and choc chip cookies..but I can't have any!
Labor signs?: no thank god, and hopefully not for 2 more weeks!
Belly button in or out?: In
What I miss: can't wait to sleep comfortably! Also can't wait to have a drink!
What I'm looking forward to: My baby shower this weekend....and the stitch coming out June 30th! :)
Milestone: 34 weeks and modified bedrest!!
How your baby's growing:Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.

Good News! 33 weeks!
Well I went to the Dr this morning and scheduled the rest of my appointments and also the Cerclage Removal date June 30th! I am so excited, thats only 3 weeks away. I am not ready for labor yet, just the being off bedrest! So tomorrow I will be 33 weeks and everything is looking great!
So I had an NST (Non stress test, where they monitor the baby's heart-rate and also to see if I am contracting) and it went well this time. They did an ultrasound because the Dr was concerned about my fluid level, but it turns out that it looked great! Karli was giving us a show on the ultrasound...she had her hand in her mouth and tongue sticking out, that was pretty neat to see! The sonographer also said that she has tons of hair already!
Mom came in over the weekend for a few days and it was so nice having her here. She got so much done and I feel like I am now well organized and more prepared for Karli's arrival. I will have to get some pics of the slipcover she made for the chair in the nursery. Moms are amazing, I dont know what I would do without her!
So I go back on Friday for another NST. They will be on Tuesdays and Fridays from here on out. I will have Greg get some more pics soon!

32 Weeks!
Well 12 weeks ago the Dr's didn't think I would make it this far into my pregnancy! They are shocked to see me every week that I come in! We had a dr's apt last Thursday and got an ultrasound and Karli is measuring almost 4lbs and the Sonographer showed us that she has hair on the screen, that was neat to see! I get another ultrasound at 35 weeks which is the end of June. I go on Friday for my first Non Stress Test. Then next week I start going 2x a week. Hopefully they will schedule the cerclage removal date! I am looking at only 4 more weeks of bedrest at the most!!
Greg and I got a new camera last weekend as an early birthday present of mine. When I look halfway decent I will have him take some pics and will update them on here! I am getting bigger by the day and more uncomfortable. It is so neat tho feeling her kick and seeing my whole belly move!
Here is a little survey for 32 weeks!
How far along?: 32 weeks
Total weight gain: 13lbs
How big is baby?: Almost 4 lbs! She's getting so big :)
Maternity clothes?: Yep, they are comfy too!
Stretch marks?: unfortunately, but they aren't that bad yet!
Sleep?: It sucks! Having to sleep on my sides and then roll out of bed like a beached whale to get up to use the bathroom!
Best moment this week?: Getting to see Karli on the ultrasound!
Movement?: Tons of rolling around... especially in the evenings.
Food cravings?: Everything I cant have because of the Gestational Diabetes! But my desert lately has been coolwhip and berries! Altho I would love a Snickers Sonic Blast!
Labor signs?: none that I know of and I hope it stays that way for about 4 more weeks!
Belly button in or out?: In, its not coming out!
What I miss: Sleeping on my back/stomach, ice cold beer!
What I'm looking forward to: seeing Mom this weekend for a few days!
Milestone: I made it to 32 weeks! Hoping for atleast 4 more then its ok for her to come out :)
